Charity Donations

What is feed the ring?

We as Felinology like to give a little something back.  This year we are holding FEED THE RING to support our 2 chosen charities of 2017.  We are asking all exhibitors, judges, clerks, stewards and visitors to assist.  We are looking for cat & dog food, dry, wet, biscuits, treats, toys, blankets etc. There will be collection points in each ring for your donations and also the Rescuers will be joining us at the show so you can meet them and speak to them about their invaluable work.  We will also be offering discounts on the door to all visitors who bring food, toys, blankets etc. All help is gratefully appreciated.  We are so very lucky that our fur babies go home with us, let’s all do our bit to help make a pet’s day and hopefully get a forever home, thank you.

This year our chosen charitys are Crofters Rescue & Ace Pet Rescue, both charities are self funded and need a bit of extra help.

Crofters Rescue

"Crofters Rescue has been rescuing rehabilitating and rehoming dogs, cats and all sorts of animals for over fifteen years. We believe that the animal should come first and we aim to give each animal the best possible new start in life.

We are different because we are not just there through the adoption but for life. Some of the ways we do this is through regular checkups and the adoptive family’s facebook group that all adoptive parents are welcome to join, to share interesting updates, funny stories and most importantly any concerns you might have. Our behavioral specialists are always on hand to give expert advice."

From supplying food, warmth, flea, worming, and medical health care. Some need bones, x ray operations, or vaccines and neutering. Often the dogs, cats and kittens are stray and need a huge amount of help.
